How old does my child need to be to start lessons?
We take piano students from Year 1 and guitar students from Year 3.
Do you only teach kids?
No! We take students of all ages! You are never too old to learn a new skill and our teachers are experienced in teaching students of all ages.
Do I need to bring my own instrument?
Guitar students will need their own instrument, however we do have 1 or 2 spares if you don’t have your instrument ready for Week 1. We provide keyboards and pianos for lessons, however it is important that students have an instrument available to them to practice on in between lessons.
Can you help me participate in exams?
We sure can! We have many students currently preparing for AMEB exams and our teachers are experienced in preparing students for all levels. Exam students must be enrolled in solo lessons.
How do I pay?
We accept payment at the start of each term via bank transfer. If you need to pay by another means or would like to discuss a payment plan, please contact us.
Can I start at any time?
Absolutely! We often have openings throughout the term, so get in touch and we will let you know if there is a place available. If there are no current vacancies, we can add you to our waitlist for the beginning of the next term.
Do you have lessons on pupil free days and public holidays?
Lessons are held on Pupil free days, but we do not have lessons on public holidays.
Are you part of All Saints Parish School?
No. Albany Creek Music is a private entity who are lucky enough to rent the fantastic rooms and facilities of All Saints.
